To celebrate the birthday of our country and to expand on yesterday’s alien theme, PubSigs.com proudly presents PubSigs Invaders.
Those evil PubSigs aliens are attacking the earth and your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to defend the mother land. Blast through the cannon fodder that is the PubSigs drummer, guitarist and bassists, to destroy the maniacal alien overlord Satisfried. Eliminate him, and you will save the earth from PubSigs tyranny.
Another earth shaking performance from the PubSigs. Whether it’s the crash at Roswell or alien bodies spotted at Hanger 18, some believe there is evidence that visitors from other worlds have come to our planet. Some claim to have encountered these celestial travelers and have memories of being ‘probed’ by them. This song warns of the imminent arrival of our new alien overlords with chunky riffs and alarming lyrics. So load up your gun rack and head for the mountains ’cause fella, you ain’t ever coming back.
Another classic rockin’ hit from the PubSigs. Written in the late 90’s and recorded in 2001, this power rock tour de force walks with one foot on a ledge and the other over the cliff. I clearly remember the rat on the stove that is spoken of in the final verse. Highlights include L.A.’s searing guitar solo followed by a more subdued jazz/blues melodic interlude.
That old geezer Elton Tipwood is trying to make us pay him for all those gigs he got us playing in cornfields on the back of flat bed semi-trailers.
I remember driving him home one night after a long night at the Wonder Bar in Elwood, and he told me “L.A., you only live once, so don’t forget to stop and smell the cow manure on the way.” I still don’t understand what that old bastard was talking about, but we still aren’t going to pay him.
To start out our first round of official PubSig podcast realeases, we present you with the tune Hit Single. Written in the late 90’s and recorded in 2002, this song speaks to the woes of a faithful pop song writer’s struggles to make it in the music industry. Highlights inlcude Satisfried’s slickly produced vocals.
As a rule, these podcasts songs will be HIGH QUALITY mp3’s encoded at a bitrate of 320kbs. So, enjoy PubSigs radio, but cherish the high quality podcast download.
